Our client is a thriving national travel and tourism brand with a young and dynamic leadership team. They currently have 250 employees in 8 offices across South Africa and growing fleet of currently over a hundred vehicles. Due to significant growth, the company is looking to recruit a National Operations Executive to be based at their HQ in Cape Town. On offer is a market related salary and performance based incentive bonus.

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Managing and leading a team of regional managers, branch managers and fleet managers across South Africa to ensure that all operations countrywide are functioning at an optimum level.

COMPETENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Administrative, communication, sales, people and time management skills
- MS Office, Internet Explorer, PowerPoint and Vehicle Management Systems
- Accuracy, attention to detail, ability to work under pressure
- Effective crisis management and resolution, customer service orientation
- Excellent communications
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Demonstrated disposition toward ethical and non-discriminatory behavior
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Strictly deadline driven, self-motivated, quality and output driven
- Systems orientated, detail-oriented and sensitive to confidential information.
- Good human relations skills and proven integrity.
- Excellent working knowledge of current South African labor laws.
- Evidence of implementing new operations and fleet management systems.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Minimum 5 years’ senior management experience in tour operating, transport logistics, fleet and staff management.

Education: Relevant post matric qualification.
